all things great and small

Today when we went to the park, my friend Sage found an earthworm.  He put it in a ‘lastic container with some dirt and grass.  Then he told me to put it in my lunch box but that will kill it. Earthworms are not lunch.  Lunch boxes are not good for earthworms.  So I asked my teacher and she said it would be best just to let the earthworm go free.  When I looked in the container, I couldn’t tell…half the earthworm wasn’t moving.  But then…the other half was.

This is me, as a princess.

What is that thing next to you?

A giraffe.

A giraffe?! Why are you standing next to a giraffe?

Because I’m at the zoo.

This is me next to a volcano.

Really?  A volcano?!  What volcano?

No, mommy, not really.  It’s just a picture I drew.

The Witch is Afraid of the Night

witch afraidThere was a little witch. She lived in this old, old house where the kids always came to trick-or-treat. It was no fun because the witch always pushed them. But every time, the ghost always talked to them and said “it’s o.k., I’ll go and scare her”. The ghost would scare the witch and lock the door. The witch cried “please, please let me in!” and then she asked for a comfy bed so they put her bed outside. Then she heard some bat sounds, so she asked for her favorite thing (and that was her broom) but the broom didn’t help her. She just needed nothing. It was only some noises! The End.
