- Ask yourself “what’s the problem?”
- Think of solutions
- Pick one
- Ask yourself “How will my people feel about it? Is it safe? Is it fair? Will it work?”
This is what I do when I get upset. It works pretty good!
I graduated from the divorce group and we had a party. The party was so great! My friend’s name is Darby and when it was time to give compliments, he said I was really smart. Miss Janine said she was very proud of me. They loved the orange juice. I loved the donuts! I got to bring home all my pictures and we got a special paper that says we graduated! Not everybody got to go to the party…just the divorce kids. Like, not the kids from my class like Chloe because they don’t have a divorce. AND I still get to see Miss Janine in the “feelings” group too!
This is when I was born.

This is the fishie and this is the turtle:

We’re supposed to draw a happy marriage, so this is like when Sara got married with Uncle Harry

Me and my dad are good riders. We rode my bike to the Earth Day parade and that was fun. I saw my friends from school and played with them in the little grass area.

Chloe got to play the cymbals (like this)!

It was SO hot today! First I played in the sprinkler, but it was too cold. Then, mommy sprayed me with the hose and scared me and that was too cold. Then, I played in the puddle I made with the garden hose. Ooooh, that was just right.

Mommy drove me and Chloe to see the show at the Water Conservation Garden. It was very bright and sunny and we learned a song called “Spiders and Snakes” in sign language!

I ate all my pancakes. Crystal did not eat all her breakfast this morning and so we were almost late.

I made a bouquet for mommy too.

I laid on the swing and tried to leave Bonnie alone.

Then I ran around real fast trying to fly. Then I found a snail.
I put him down where it was wet and he crawled back up on me. He wasn’t afraid of me at all!
When kids share something, they need to use different ends because of germs. Like when Chloe and I play the recorder, she plays one end and then I turn it around and use the other end. Grown-ups don’t have to do that because they control the germs. Like with kissing and stuff. Grown-ups just control the germs I guess. All I know is that grownups can do it and kids can’t…yet.

My favorite part is when ‘Katie’ says “in my world, everyone’s a pony and they eat rainbows and poop butterflies!”
